What's stocked

Units want washing every eight to fifteen wears, sooner in summer or if you use a lot of product, and washing too often costs a synthetic unit some of its style each time. Cool water, always downward, never scrubbed. Shampoo and conditioner for both fibers sit with the units: synthetic and human hair, blend, lace fronts, closure wigs, glueless caps, half wigs and full caps.

One trip, everything

At twenty minutes, work out what the unit needs before you go: cap, adhesive and remover or nothing for glueless, shampoo for the fiber, a comb or wig brush, and a stand. Both stores stay open until 9 PM Monday through Saturday.

Measure first

Around the hairline, front to nape, and ear to ear over the crown. A wrong cap size is the single most common reason a unit disappoints, and it has nothing to do with the hair itself. Sizes run petite, average and large, and the difference between them is felt within an hour of wearing.

Getting here from Shelby Township
