Scarves, Headwear and Cold-Weather Pieces

Michigan winters make headwear a hair decision as much as a clothing one, and our Roseville store at Gratiot and 12 Mile carries both sides in the same building. Scarves, bandanas, turbans, caps and hats sit near the clothing, with jackets and outerwear alongside.

Hats and hair

A wool hat pulled over a fresh press or a wig is how a style is ruined between the car and the door. Satin-lined hats and beanies exist for exactly this reason: the outer layer keeps you warm and the satin lining stops the friction that causes frizz and breakage. If you wear protective styles or a unit through winter, a satin-lined hat is the single most useful purchase in this section.

Headwraps and turbans

A wrap covers a style you haven't finished, protects it from weather, and works as an outfit piece in its own right. Pre-tied turbans take the skill out of it, which is worth it if you're new to wrapping. Longer scarves give more options but take practice. Satin and satin-lined versions protect the hair; cotton ones look good and pull moisture out of it.

Bandanas and everyday scarves

Useful beyond the head: tied at the neck, on a bag, or over a set of rollers while they dry. Cheap enough to own several, and a quick way to change how an outfit reads without buying anything else.

Jackets and layers

The outerwear section carries jackets and lighter layers rather than heavy winter coats. Worth a look when you're in for something else, particularly at the turn of a season when a mid-weight layer is what's actually needed.

Our Roseville store is at 28800 Gratiot Ave, at Gratiot and 12 Mile, and it has the latest Sunday closing of our four stores, at 7:30 PM. It's the closest Kelly Beauty for Roseville, Fraser, Clinton Township, Mount Clemens and anyone coming down Gratiot or I-94 from northern Macomb County. Monday through Saturday it's open until 8:45 PM.
