From Center Line the braiding hair aisles are five minutes north on Van Dyke, in the Majestic Plaza between 11 Mile and 12 Mile. Close enough that buying an extra pack mid-install is an interruption rather than a disaster, which is worth knowing when you're estimating how much to buy.

What's stocked

The first choice on the wall is pre-stretched or bulk. Pre-stretched comes tapered and ready to braid, which saves a step and finishes cleaner at the ends. Bulk is blunt-cut, cheaper, and suits anyone who prefers to stretch and taper it themselves or is building locs. Both come in synthetic, blend and human, with crochet hair and the install supplies alongside.
