Dresses, Jumpsuits and Occasion Pieces in Warren

Our Warren store on Van Dyke in the Majestic Plaza carries clothing alongside the hair and cosmetics, which makes it possible to sort out an outfit and the hair for it in one trip. It's open until 9 PM Monday through Saturday, which is late enough to shop after work for a weekend event.

Dressing for an occasion in one stop

The practical advantage of this section is that the wig wall, the lash wall and the cosmetics counter are in the same building. Choosing a dress and then choosing lashes and a lip shade to go with it, rather than guessing across two shops on different days, is a genuinely better way to do it.

What to check on an occasion piece

How it moves when you sit down, not just standing at a mirror. Whether the fabric shows what's underneath, which decides what you need to wear with it. Strap and neckline positions, if you're planning to wear the hair up or down, since a statement neckline and a full unit compete for the same space.

Jumpsuits and rompers

They solve the matching problem in one piece and are the easiest thing to get wrong on fit. Torso length matters more than waist size: a jumpsuit that's short through the body pulls at the shoulders no matter how well the waist fits. Check that before anything else.

Everyday pieces too

It isn't only occasion wear. Tops and tees, bottoms, matching lounge sets, pantyhose, socks and layers make up most of the section, at beauty supply prices rather than department store ones.

Our Warren store

Our Warren store is at 27750 Van Dyke Ave in the Majestic Plaza shopping center, between 11 Mile and 12 Mile. It's open until 9 PM Monday through Saturday and 6:30 PM on Sunday, which makes it the usual evening stop for Warren, Center Line, Sterling Heights and the Oakland County suburbs off I-696. Van Dyke gets you there from the south, and the I-696 Van Dyke exit from the east or west.
