Kelly Beauty opens on every public holiday except one. All four stores run 9 AM to 6:15 PM, shorter than a normal weekday but covering most of the day. The single exception is Christmas Day, when all four are closed.
Open, 9 AM to 6:15 PM, at all four stores. That applies to New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples' Day, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving. Closed only on Christmas Day.
Roseville is the one store that changes. On a Sunday it keeps its usual Sunday hours of 10 AM to 7:30 PM rather than the holiday schedule, opening an hour later and staying open more than an hour longer than the other three. Easter Sunday is the obvious case, and dated holidays such as New Year's Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day and Veterans Day land on a Sunday in some years. Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day and the other Monday holidays never do.
Warren and Roseville normally stay open until 9 PM, and on a holiday both close at 6:15 PM like the rest. So the usual advice about heading to those two late in the day does not hold on a holiday. Go earlier than you otherwise would, or check whether the date happens to be a Sunday, which is the only time Roseville runs later.
All four stores are closed on December 25 and reopen the next day on their regular schedule. If you need supplies over Christmas, buy them beforehand or order online, since the website keeps taking orders through the holiday while the stores are shut.
All three run regular hours, not holiday hours. They are not public holidays, so every store keeps its usual schedule for that day of the week. The day after Thanksgiving is always a Friday, which means Warren and Roseville are open until 9 PM, Eastpointe until 8:45 PM and Detroit until 8:15 PM. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve fall on a different weekday each year, so check which day of the week the date lands on and use the regular hours for it.
