Beauty Supply in Metro Detroit

Kelly Beauty Supply runs four stores across Metro Detroit: one in Detroit off Gratiot near 7 Mile, Super Kelly Beauty on Gratiot at the 8 Mile line in Eastpointe, one on Van Dyke in Warren's Majestic Plaza, and one on Gratiot at 12 Mile in Roseville. All four carry the same categories and run the same monthly sale, so the choice comes down to which is closest and which is open when you need it.

Three on Gratiot, one on Van Dyke

The Detroit, Eastpointe and Roseville stores are strung along Gratiot at roughly 7 Mile, 8 Mile and 12 Mile, which covers the east side and southern Macomb County. The Warren store sits west of that line on Van Dyke between 11 Mile and 12 Mile, which puts it within reach of Center Line, Sterling Heights, Madison Heights and the Oakland County suburbs coming off I-696.

Hours are not identical

Detroit opens earliest at 8:45 AM and closes between 8 and 8:15 PM. Eastpointe runs 9 AM to 8:45 PM Monday through Saturday. Warren stays open until 9 PM Monday through Saturday and Roseville until 8:45 PM. On Sundays, Detroit and Eastpointe close at 6:15 PM, Warren at 6:30 PM and Roseville at 7:30 PM. For a late Sunday run, Roseville is the one.

When to order instead

Online orders are collected at the Detroit store, and shipping is a flat $4.99 anywhere in Michigan, usually 1 to 3 business days, with same-day processing on weekday orders placed before 2 PM Eastern. If you're after a specific color code or cap size, ordering is often faster than checking two walls.
